0,00 €
Thu 1.10.2026 at 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Lecturer Anu Kehusmaa, Executive Director of the Nordea Art Foundation
Over more than a century, Nordea and its predecessor banks have built a significant collection of Finnish art through their art acquisitions. Anu Kehusmaa will discuss why art has been collected, what kinds of artworks have been acquired for banks, and how the collection has evolved into a shared part of our cultural heritage.
The five works by Helene Schjerfbeck currently on display in the exhibition Schjerfbeck x Nordea Art Foundation at the Jyväskylä Art Museum offer a perspective on the history of the collection and some of its key works.
The lecture will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams. Due to copyright restrictions, the lecture will not be recorded. A link and joining instructions will be sent by email to registered participants during the same week as the event.
Please note that the lecture will be conducted in Finnish.
